all right and I see recording okay so welcome everybody good to have you all here just really glad to have you and appreciate of the fact that you took your time at the end of the school day I'm sure my day just finished and so appreciate that you guys are sending your day a little bit longer before you can kind of relax truly count today as the clothes set up a business and two official more days before Christmas week but like Rachel said my name is Alan Wong and I work with the Tennessee School for the Blind as a assistive technology teacher specialist that sort of stuff in a different capacity I'm also the current president of the Tennessee chapter of the Usos and so in either of those capacities that I can ever be of help to you in some form of training or specific issue you're having regarding assistive technology you know I think it's it's very much my my passion and my purpose to try to help people out and and just minimize any kind of frustrations or just learning need that you might feel like you're having and then as the AR on President you know I really want to make sure that members and non-members cheer in the state for vision professionals feel like they have a community that they can reach out to help or just community of any form and so we want you to be able to join us and we if you'd like to join you know the community in some form without necessarily the pressure of pain. 8 yard just shoot us an email I'll put my email in the chat and and we can a detour listener which is just enough for anybody to be our do and so but that said I know you guys are all here for the training and I'm going to get started but as we go I don't recognize everybody's name so if you don't mind just kind of typing in the chat where you're from in the state and just he briefly what your your your role is I'd love to know that and then you know I'm so I was curious to know who everyone is where they work and then. That's where to stay but let's get going so we are all here let me let me check my email before I forget Art & Soul we're all here to talk about the free built-in Vision specific accessibility features that are included in Windows 10 ring system that almost everyone will use that they're using a computer that's not an apple or perhaps a Chromebook okay and I am professionally I'm very Windows computers as a Primary Learning device that students and just individuals over all should use for whatever tasks that they're they're trying to accomplish I think overall they are probably the most versatile overall platform for enabling access and productivity Tim information that is both yo digital on the Internet or just you know something that has to be disseminated through email and communication that sort of thing and so so to that end one of the reasons that it is such a great platform to to use is because windows and Microsoft has built in a tremendous set of completely included accessibility features into their software which you know contributes to this whole concept of Universal Design for Learning where regard what your needs and informs and preferences of access to the computer might be they're doing their best to ensure settings that can accommodate you and allow you to have as equal of an experience to do any any other person who just uses the the standard method of access review some of that along the way I'm going to also try to highlight the either very similar or comparable features that are included on iOS which is the mobile mobile operating system that iPhones and iPads use your many of us have iPhones but specifically the iPads it's it's a good thing to be a what is included in all that software because this is also a very common your text solution used in in in the school setting in that sort of stuff so as I go I was just teaching and I'm a little bit like frazzled in my day-to-day stuff because I've got one of my kids at home and because the Metro briefcase is not a not in person so so forgive me for not having a very text forward way to show you clean Lea Michele my screen off the iPad while I'm trying to share my screen from the computer but I'll probably be just holding up the iPad if that's okay and in describing how to get to the features but hopefully you'll be able to come out of the overview that I I give to you guys with just an awareness that these things exist and they are easily accessed and you have a basic understanding at a minimum of what they can do for you or your stupid okay and so hopefully I'll help you be able to understand functionality and then you knowing your students you can connect all of that with all this this could really work for my student where I can't wait to get with them and explore which of these that they they really prefer because that's kind of the goal here to help you just be better equipped with a bit of information to make you more effective in your support of your so without further Ado let's let's start by just establishing what where to where to go to get started with a feature and say this is what that's in Windows 10 and I'm also curious is that you have a hand raised feature until is it reactions or something but yeah thumbs up there you go know what's funny is when people forget to put it down and then you're like yes I'm waiting but how many of you guys are a Windows computer right now just curious okay some hand raised some thumbs up okay alright and so that's good because you know as we go I'll try to Pace things or pause long enough for you to feel comfortable please yourself while we're here and I encourage you to do that because you know just just hearing it told to you something told to you guys I don't think personally is enough for you to end feeling like you're able to then do it with your stupid so I encourage you to while you have this opportunity to you don't get messy do some of the shortcuts that will describe for you and nnn just really experience what it means to use that okay and you may be able to compare with some of the other options that are out there that you're familiar with but to start okay in is 10 the the place where you would want to go to get started with exploring features is called the ease of Access Center and 2 to access that you're going press the windows you shortcut and let me get started by sharing my screen yep just my regular screen and you guys should see my desktop is that correct dark so I'm going out so as all shortcuts you're going to have a combination of things to hold down together I'm not typically not in sequence and so I'm holding the Windows key down which is usually two spots next to the left of the space bar holding windows and impressing you opens up the ease of Access Center and as you can notice all right you have a column on the left in a man kind of region on the right and looking on the left you'll notice there is an entire section to begin that is dedicated to Vision all right and it's taken us automatically to the first section which is specifically display and so we're going to just try to run through some of these and the show you a little bit of how all that works all right you may or may not have been familiar with this you know what's great about some of the display features I'll just say is that these are things that you can do completely before you worry about whether or not you need additional magnification software I've had students that I've set some of the settings and we have not needed to use magnification we've been able to customise their their personal computers or School provided computers and text has been enlarged or however to a point where are very comfortable all right so let's look at the first I didn't think they have here it's called make text bigger and broadly in in many aspects of the operating system the text will simply get larger and so you can experiment with this with your student and just kind of see you see how it it gets larger as a demonstration as you drag the slider I'm going to put it pretty noticeably larger at around 200% and he reply and are you guys still with me everything updated but you see how you know definitely if you see on the left here my all my icons to text is larger they're coming through good eggnog and in in the actual ease of access window to text has gotten larger as well so this is an option for you if it's not much like changing the text size on your your iPhone and iPad so this is a pretty nice setting that just by default so you can kind of have a little bit of control over that we got text I'm going to set it back next is a section that says make everything bigger all right we all we all here this is the setting where you know they're doing a good job of using very standard vernacular and descriptive language not technical language which is what I'm going to give you now this is this is a setting that has to do with feeling okay so the scale of everything that appears on your screen and will change as you change this this feature Okay so I can increase the percentage here in this setting in that will you'll see how the proposed that everything will will I don't have to say this correctly but everything will get larger relative to everything else so I'm going to set it to the highest one that my computer will allow and are you guys seeing what has happened on my computer the at the very bottom of my screen on my icons the search bar it's all larger my toolbar my taskbar as bigger my icons have gotten larger I hope this is coming through for you guys okay and so especially for your younger students this is a great way to have broad system-wide enlargement of everything so that you don't have to worry about them worrying about additional magnification features okay so those are the two things that I would specifically highlight as worthy of experimentation to see what combination of all this will be useful because even with the scaling I can been also additionally increase the text size and have larger larger font even after the fact of scaling and so hopefully that is something interesting to consider let me set everything back to the way it was okay all right no looking back on the westside here we're going to depart from display the standard just kind of appearance features and we're going to look at Mouse pointers and this is great because you know many of our students either they struggle to see a standard BECU Bruce standard this is the standard Mouse size I was already on a larger size it is Tiny I can't even I can hardly I can hardly see it moving on this white background my wife might mouse cursor it's right here if you see that popping I will talk about that as well but this first slide just simply allows you to change size and it'll get larger as you drag it I think I've had it on a three but it will get as large as under-15 scale look how big it gets okay sometimes simply I will make a huge difference for somebody bring it down will let me leave it here for now okay and so II setting here in the mouse pointer section is the color by default it is a white cursor with a black outline there's also a black cursor with a white outline in 4 Low time the only other option was an inverted setting in which whatever the background color was like here we have a white background the entire mouse cursor is the inverse so it stands out but as you'll notice as I move it down towards my desktop which is blue it now turns orange or orange if I say sometimes because I'm from New Jersey this is because in theory it's very difficult to lose visually and color-wise your cursor on the computer screen I actually for a long time this was the DM cursive that I personally would use most of the time and most of my students would would enjoy the most however threw some recent updates in the last year or so the ease of Access Center also added the simple ability to have a solid color at your neon colored bright noticeable mouse cursor color you can pick some D standard neon colors purple green which is more T lie for me turquoise blue pink orange yellow and with a call that lime all right and so this is great well because sometimes super high contrast colors also pop more effectively for for certain individual furthermore you can literally pick whatever color you're looking for if you happen to know that there was a super high preference you know kind of situation going on let me dragged down Back Down 2 probably my preferred three and actually you know what I do like to I do like the lime going to leave it there okay for you Lisa wrote that one of the things that they're struggling with is the issue of scaling of banners and radio buttons with school within schoology and does Chromebook have a similar way to make everything bigger I'm not intimately familiar with all of the accessibility features that Chrome OS has built into it I know it has a screen aggregation solution as well as perhaps some mouse settings but I'm not sure if it has the scaling I will gladly at the end of this do a quick Google search for you but I am sure if it's there it'll show up in the documentation if you search for Google OS on Chrome OS on Chrome OS accessibility for visual display settings best place to search that's what I would do in my initial search but I'm so sorry about that tsp is a Microsoft first school followed by iPad some things that we used to open a compliment and so I do not as much have that experience you coming back to the mouse pointers as I scroll down you'll notice we'll keep a few things but you'll see at the bottom there's a related settings section and there are some additional Now settings and I'm going to click on this all right this actual first age is not really what I want it's the actual additional Mouse options under the also related settings section so what to combat it opens a more traditional a traditional looking window that that's titled Mouse properties and you can undo a quick window search so if you go into the corner by Preston and click there or use the Windows key to just tap it and open it up if you type Mouse properties it should come up but otherwise let's see if that will that pulls up the mail section but just know that if you go to related settings and you keep tricking additional Mouse options you will get what you're this window is interesting because if you go to printer options a couple things worth knowing about are the facts that you can control the the pointer speed and if you can imagine some students may have difficulty tracking the two-point the mouse pointer so as they move the cursor around with the mouse or on the touchpad we may not want the mouse to move that fast and we can slow it down a little bit you know what their helpline movement my hold on just a little bit okay I have to admit I'm not noticing a huge difference just now doing that so your mileage may vary but as far as visibility at the bottom you see that section titled visibility okay and these are classic settings that you may be familiar with a while back he's been here for a while and honestly do something for while the only settings that you could get the pointer Trail where as you move your mouse cursor that you'll see a Long Trail to be dizzying Samba is also very useful for some individuals as far as just keeping track of where the mouse is okay so just know that you can do that you can adjust how long and short the tales are you see how that's already gotten shorter you may not want to hide the Pointer while you're typing because you don't want to track of it this happens when your you do in word or typing an email up okay so I'm checking that will allow it to stay present the whole time and then lastly this is great when he what does box and it says show location of pointer when I press the control key all right that's what I was doing earlier and you get this little concentric Circle business that kind of makes it a little more noticeable where is my mouse cursor if you have a didn't you may lose track of the cursor and moving it around doesn't help this is an in additional setting that can be helpful to them let's see see I open something up which was not the use of Access Center so I'm going to go back and forth Windows you and get myself back where I want so before we keep going how do I use this pool bar in does anybody have any questions from so far that we've from what we've got demonstrators and showed shirt off it's all pretty straightforward but just trying to go item-by-item so you're not you know yeah we don't leave anything on I'm discussed not discussed sorry it is almost Christmas break oh great thank you for sharing that Julia yeah all right so as we keep going the next setting is the text cursor alright and this is exciting because it is a way for you to turn on something called the text cursor indicator it's a wet if you turned it on and you're typing similar to the map Mouse pointer you can have this little hourglass sort of thing get added on to your your typing cursor so that it stands out a little more in the text as your typing play some little better and you can pick a color just like you know with the mouse pointers as well as adjust the size so I've set bat and let me switch we over into too many things open okay a Word document you see it now that I am in word all of a sudden that indicator is popping up so as I type the indicator shows me where my cursor is located all right and if I want to if I want to do any editing you know I'm moving around it follows with me and just really helps me stay precise with what I'm doing so that's that's a pretty nice feature to have alongside that is is the overall text cursor a thickness setting where I've already set it to number 3 because the standard is so pencil-thin it is even from me I just can't I can't work like so I said it's number three you may find students who prefer even sticker cursors for their own benefit because it's just a darker black block for helping you know and where where they are in the text any any little thing can can be helpful I've moved it up to a four what let me make it even bigger and so sweet once I get to Seven you kind of see that it's already going to be highlighting one whole letter let's see how that plays out here so it's pretty noticeable Thomas liquor Doss like experience you see how as you go the beginning of that block is where the where is the indicator would be helpful for you the purple indicator because otherwise without it without certain thicknesses you can kind of get confused about where exactly the cursor is low again you do some combination of all of this may be helpful to a specific student I'm going to skip magnifier for a quick second because it takes that's going to take it just a little bit longer just go over color filters in high contrast let me skip over to color filters here and this whole section is specifically intended to help individuals how to have color blindness on those kind of things I'm not you know I'm going to transition teacher not not well-versed in matters of colorblindness but it is always good if you don't have a student to it's clearly documented are there eye condition or visual experience now they have some something that is clearly related to color blindness the settings are here and so when you enable this is that what I wanted hold on oh yeah okay so the the first setting is an inverted setting I'll send it to grayscale solmore what's jarring but there are things that can be done as far as these basic setting but as far as a specific color blindness setting you know there are I guess three specific forms of where very common forms of colorblindness deuteranopia protanopia and tritanopia and so you see this color wheel at the bottom when I click on the green auction deuteranopia yeah I would I would imagine most of us can see all of the nine slices of this on the color wheel but you know an individual with color blindness might not be able to and so what I've done with a couple students of mine who who it was clearly documented they had color blindness was we explored each one of these until they could they said oh okay now I see that there are nine individual slices and where we found the one where they could see the most distinct slices then applied to the visual experience because you see how I click all these it changes the colors around my screen ever-so-slightly okay and so I picking the one where they have the most distinct slices visible in theory apply to the system they will have the least amount of situations where they have colors washing out each other and causing any difficulty that might okay so I wouldn't say that this comes out very often but you know at Etsy is being an elsewhere where I've worked in my Outreach capacity I have had students where this was used and we just at first there were like no these three that's like a huge slice right there well you know do you say say these three for example but then when I changed it because there's there's a is a difference now we picked what was most useful to them high contrast is the next section here on the left of the ease of Access Center and this is where you're setting up visual themes to the the operating system and and you can see it there is a there's a show but in many of these I glossed over some of this many of these settings on Microsoft has a good job of including underneath the settings what the keyboard shortcut is so that is something that if you realize our students will be using this frequently than me and they may need to toggle it on and off exercising what those short codes are we'll be something to be mindful of it is a quick way to know you know you can go there to see what the shortcut is and so on when I turn high contrast on you'll see this first one set to high contrast black all right so you initially your thoughts might be who I'm in a video game something something but what this one has done is most of my background are black and predominantly text has now become white with hyperlinks appearing in yellow other text appearing in green all this is customized but these are going to preset themes that are included there's high contrast 1/2 and high contrast white but let me just start by saying that in in all of my experience so far working with students with visual impairments the ones who have had a certain level of Need for high contrast on both the computer and things like video mag bars where you can set color filters white text on a black background has ReSound Angley been the most popular preferred you know static I think it's something to the fact of white backgrounds just overall presents a just a glaring too bright of the background for them to come through please focus on black text whereas a dark black background is you know not as jarring to them and so they can a more comfortably let the white text pop out and stand in contrast and so I think your your your experience will likely be I will introduce him this will likely be well-received for many of your students to upload vision and perhaps difficulty with contrast just to show you what the other teams look like here we have also a black background but now the text is kind of split between yellow and white with some greens showing up high contrast to you know different kind of color scheme and high contrast White and just kind of going from that black you know all of them back to White and you're thinking who am I right hopefully that kind of will help you kind of get a feel for what some of our students do experience when they use the computers why they squint so much let me turn that off now and please help me go just feel free to continue asking any questions that you might have art so let's let's let's get a the magnifier now aren't they this is Windows magnifier and it is a screen magnification Solution that's just completely built into Windows is awesome is so good your your your experience may include things like zoomtext on Apple devices like apple desktops it's called Apple Zoom I believe but there are others other paid options but you know zoomtext which is included in a fusion which you can get from a PhD in Odessa commercial kind of option it's good it's very functional lot of features but my experience has found Zoom text to still be kind of herky-jerky once in awhile the magnifier is just so so stinking smooth in and how well it works seamlessly within the the windows environment so I do want to just take some time to show off some of these features so we are here in the ease of Access Center you know showing you all the specific things available for magnifier but as we get into it just know that this is the one where if using this you do really want to know what the keyboard shortcuts are there really not that many for the basic settings of basic you know it just means but you don't want to be wasting time having to go to the beyond the toolbar and clicking to adjust magnification that sort of thing and so I'm not even going to click okay so what you would want to know is it's a simple it's a simple shortcut windows holding the Windows key down and I'm pressing the plus key will turn on magnifier let me do that and I am I zoomed in on the move over so I can see you guys all right so I'm seeing you guys zoomed in that hello hello alright and so this is your screen magnification software experience okay and by default you do you zoom in to a certain level as you move your mouse cursor around that's how you can adjust the dunedain region your this is called panning around I need to see what time it is 3:43 should be plenty of time for us to keep going to finish out okay let's come back to the window that the settings here and so we're looking at the magnifier settings if I want to increase my magnification you see what it says if I want to increase my magnification I'm going to hold windows and press plus again and I'm getting closer and zooming in more and more okay and of course as I do that my field of view get smaller so just know that you may become a certain point at risk of having system you knowing where you are on the computer screen and the the visual environment so make sure you don't get to a critical point where it's difficult to orient you know it. show here how to zoom out but that is a simple Windows key and minus sign minus key if you have a numpad I recommend using it because the minus key is directly above the puske Iran's ruling out okay but then you also do see that if you want to turn off magnifier we're going to use the Windows key and the Escape key Soho Windows hitting escape and now I've zoomed all the way out okay so some combination of Windows plus minus in Escape gives you essential all the basic you do use of magnifier that you might need and that's pretty fantastic as we ask you and your students Maybe play with magnifier just know that some of these settings you might want to just on the early in like the not the zoom level because this is like manually controlling what you're going to do into that you can do with window plastic window blinds with the increments is what's what's interesting because this this changes how much does your zoom level change each time you hit Windows plus or minus so let me just change with all the way down shoe I know 10% and it's actually crazy that they have 5 and 10% but as you can imagine this will give you a little more fine-grained control over what your preferred magnification is wear whatever you're up to on the computer so when it's turned Windows magnifier back on Windows Plus all right so I'm at 200% I've been here but now it a twenty five percent Zoom incident let's see what happens every time I zoom in you see how it's hardly as dramatic as it was before and I'll change it back to say 100% And when I hit Windows plus a whole lot more all at once okay so depending on what you or your student I need that will you do make a make a difference alright let me get Windows Escape real quick already so there are different mag reviews based on what you might desire out of your experience there's a doctor's view there's a lens view on and they do have their own keyboard shortcuts with Allen's as you can see it kind of becomes more of a magnifying glass experience on the desktop going to turn it on here okay so wherever I move my mouse whatever is underneath my mouse will then become it can be a useful feature because you're as you can see nothing is really changing to the the whole screen except where wherever my mouse cursor is moving so in that sense I don't lose field of view it's just booming in where I want to be zoomed in however you know the the reading experience maybe a little less fluid you know your fluency may suffer if you're using this as a reading Solutions I really wouldn't use this in that case in general I am I think most people will be very pleased using the knot. Sorry full screen view. Is set up such that you have a magnified region drag this town are you staying this is it coming through we're like okay so good this is this actually been around the longest I've never really found a positive use case for the doctor view it's just very difficult to feel comfortable with so I'm just going to out of here ASAP but you see how you have your standard view below and a magnified view of but all at once the back in the full screen view no like I said this is where generally you're going to have the the smoothest most comfortable experience around the computer but let me highlight this section have magnifier follow okay this is Keith this is one of the great features and magnifier by default I'm pretty sure most computers will have the mouse pointer check because that's how you move around there's also narrator cursor checked if you're using the narrator screen reader but the two that may not be checked her keyboard focus and text cursor alright and so I want I want to illustrate this let me go into our Word document and show you this is where we won't be at type earlier right I'm going to continue my sentence and let me let me say I need to do man because I like a large size okay so isn't this great wait a second can you guys see how I just typed out the screen now I have to take my hands off the keyboard and moved my focus so I can keep going isn't this great well sort of let me switch back now now if I check these keyboard focus and text cursor I'm going to go back now and zoom in enter to a new line and you guys see how my focus was immediately routed to wherever the text cursor is this way the text cursor holds on to magnifiers focus and I cannot type off the screen is great and okay now listen I'm using alt-tab to switch back to settings as I hit have all tapping around this is what the keyboard Focus setting controls okay every time the keyboard goes different place the focus follows that Focus so I can do the same thing here within the the settings I'm not touching the mouse the touchpad on my laptop at all okay so that's that's pretty pretty cool so hopefully that illustrate something that you may not have been aware of on specifically when our kids are low vision students or is anyone who's using magnification and they have typing to do this is a game-changer for for helping them to have a more efficient productive you no experience there's a few other settings here that you know can be looked at like make sure the mouse pointer stays within the edges of the screen or is it centered on the screen zoom in aren't you see I'm I'm a until I get to the edge of the viewing region my mouse pointer is always as move around on the touchpad it's locked into the center of the screen okay like some kind of Target or or however River by default what's the weather in the edges of the screen so it will be a little more fluid and how it moves around and I think it's the same thing with the text cursor there's also a reading feature in in magnifier that got added which is comparable to what zoomtext has going on in this is very new let me control well Windows plus a little bit so you see in these command descriptions okay to start pause and resume reading we use the modifier by default that's Control Plus alt alternatively you can use Ctrl alt in the left Mouse click to read from wherever your mouse pointer might be so let's try that out here I'm going to use Ctrl alt and left click at the beginning here as I type the indicator shows me where my cursor is located okay let me stay here but let me when is escape that I share my audio I hope I did so this is this is pretty cool because I'm over kid do like having the the assurance that with a tie is what they thought they typed and then perhaps they are not fully wanting to use a screen reading software so this is where I said I'd like to kind of stop the overview because we're five five or six minutes from the end of our time. And I know narrator is lest narrator is Windows has built-in screen reading program UK and you can see to turn it on we're going to use the windows control and enter shortcut that will turn it on and off because of time I'm not going to demonstrate it today but what I'll tell you is it is it is very functional today you might have heard in the past even from me that it is behind other windows screen readers like jaws and nvda but the fact that it's built into windows and Microsoft cares they really do about having their entire package fully accessible without needing additional so that's why narrator has improved over the years has a very large number of keyboard shortcuts to help you be as functional productive around the operating system I know that it is a good fallback option if you for some reason have a blank computer with no drawers or nvda installs okay in many of the shortcuts used by in those other screen readers will also work in the reason the reason for that is because fundamentally screen readers for the most part give you auditory access to Universal Windows shortcut okay for while I think where I think there's some there's dismiss Nomar that say jaws has all of the the special you know ways of getting you around the computer and that's a little bit that's that's not quite true its jaws will read out you know what you're doing or it'll narrate you as hit Tab and all that kind of stuff it's not that much that's unique to Any Given software so the question is really just how how well can how well can a reader you do give you the auditory feedback for what you're doing all right so I'm going to stop now with screen sharing and so we've about 3 minutes I can hang out a little bit longer but I hear that my wife came home with the boys from picking up my kid who is in daycare and so I will. does anybody have any questions that you'd like to ask or anyting of that sort I let me and ask you maybe think about it I have a link I'm going to paste into the chat it will take you to a PowerPoint that I had made at some point kind of giving a very basic overview of many of the things that I just showed you in the ease of Access Center not so much magnifier or narrator but it will give you an overview of what to look for in expect from the other Vision specific settings so hopefully that's helpful to you guys so had a website to pull up for you and the second one is Microsoft's own web page for how to use a magnifier it has a lot of well-crafted sections describing what's all of these settings do so if you want to get into more detail and see what their technical literature I'm says about your how to make the best use of that feel free to use that with that said again I'm I'm happy to answer any questions that I hopefully otherwise you'd been able to show you guys a little bit about what is in every single Windows computer and the benefit of knowing about this is all included so you never have to feel incapable or lost and so yes green emit blue light at screens emit Blue Light which you can keep which can keep you up at night night light displays warmer colors to help you sleep so I can turn on now and you see you're seeing my screen you may not be visibly able to see this but try this out on your own and you can schedule it which on my phone I do do this and it begins at about I don't know 7 or 8 or Yeah for sure I mean you just think about I mean you know my my my son who is in pre-k with Metro they got a Windows computer but it's screen like this big and so either he's not doing a lot of productive house but if you're in that situation we have a Windows computer but it's so small at least maybe you can improve the the text size and that kind of stuff so the kids are you all doing this which I'm sure you've seen before you know that hair for a lot of kids because they're that close to look at the screen and you know you know what it's like try to think of anything else but yeah so we got a few more minutes but there's some shrieking going on I might need to go
