19th Annual Blindness Awareness Golf Scramble

The 19th Annual Blindness Awareness Golf Scramble benefiting the Tennessee School19 MBRC Golf Scramble for the Blind will be held on Wednesday September 26th at 12:30pm. The location will be Old Fort Golf Course in Murfreesboro, Tennessee

The Tennessee School for the Blind has served Tennessee’s blind and visually impaired citizens since its establishment in 1844. Because its students have unique needs, the school often needs special equipment, supplies and opportunities for enrichment activities in addition to what can be provided by the state appropriations that support the school. Assistance can be given by a non-governmental foundation such as Friends of Tennessee School for the Blind. This golf tournament has raised over $250,000 for the school in the last ten years.

Funds donated to Friends of Tennessee School for the Blind, Inc. are tax exempt and used to enhance and enrich the educational, vocational, special skills and social development for over 200 blind children served by Tennessee School for the Blind.
