Greetings Parent(s) and Guardian(s),
It is once again time to prepare for a new school year! Our staff has been working over the summer to plan for our annual Registration Day, which will be renamed to Open House/Registration Day. We are making the change to the name as we want you to have the experience of meeting your child(ren) teachers, asking any questions you may have, and sign up for volunteer opportunities to help support TSB.
As in previous years, registration will be over two different days.
Open House and Registration Day for day students only is Thursday, August 3 from 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM.
AND,
Open House and Registration Day for residential students only is on Sunday, August 6, from 12:00 PM - 4:00 PM. Residential students will be contacted by staff in advance. Dr. Cormier and the residential staff will be on campus to receive students in the cottages after registration is completed. We ask that you plan accordingly. If you have specific questions regarding the cottages, please call Dr. Cormier at 615-231-7365.
The Registration Day Process and Procedures:
• Families will park in the main parking lot, located in the front of the building.
• Upon entering the building, families will start at check point 1 to sign-in and receive a registration card. Each card will have a specific starting checkpoint to help with the flow of traffic for this day.
• Each family will continue through all checkpoints and finish with lunch/dinner provided at the conclusion of all checkpoints.
• Families and students will complete the registration process by visiting each checkpoint, to include the clinic.
• To help regulate the amount of people inside TSB, we request that a parent/guardian, along with the student, attend registration day.
• Please make sure to bring ALL your child’s medical documents and ALL medications with current physician’s orders and pharmacy labeling, to give to the clinic. For the safety of all students at TSB, those without current physician’s orders for medications will not be allowed to remain on campus.
• We will be selling TSB apparel at the conclusion of Open House. We are currently unable to process credit or debit cards, please Cash or check only.

In closing, pre-registration packets were mailed home in mid-May. If the packet has not been returned, please take some time to complete the forms included and return the packet to the School’s Office. The information on the forms is very important for your child’s safety, well-being, and success in the educational process.
